Montgomery Tree Committee plans a week's worth of events for Arbor Day | Environment

Arbor week is almost here and the Montgomery Tree Committee is planning a week of events.

Sat., Feb. 19 -- Seedling giveaway at Earth Fare, East Chase, from 8 a.m. until noon.

Tues. Feb. 22 - Seedling giveaway at Alabama Capitol Grounds, 11 a.m. until noon

Weds. Feb. 23 -- Downtown Tree Dedication, Lower Commerce Street, 10 a.m.

Thurs. Feb 24 -- Gunter AFS Arbor Day, Child Care Center, 9:30 a.m.

Fri. Feb. 25 -- LeGrand Park Tree Dedication, Legrand Park, 9 a.m.

Sat. Feb. 26 -- Seedling Giveaway, Fairview Farmer's Market, 8 a.m. until noon.

All events are open to the public except the *Gunter AFS Arbor Day Celebration.   We invite the community to attend and celebrate with us the renewal of our urban forest.  MTC thanks the Montgomery Clean City Commission for their support during Arbor Week.
