Police arrest one person, search for second suspect in Montgomery home invasion | Crime

At 9:15 this morning, Montgomery police responded to a robbery at a home on the 6000 block of Monticello Drive.

According to Sgt. Regina Duckett of the MPD, there was a knock at the door and two black males entered the residence armed with a handgun and attempted to rob the residence.

The robbers fled the scene, but police believe that they have one of the two suspects in custody.  The second suspect is still on the loose.

Some currency and jewelry were taken in the robbery. One of the home's occupants received minor injuries during the robbery.
