MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA)- The Auburn University Board of Trustees has voted to change the name of AUM's School of Business.
AUM's School of Business is now known as "College of Business," which better reflects the breadth and diversity of disciplines within the academic unit according to officals.
"This is a springboard into a number of exciting changes that are coming for the college," said Dean Rhea Ingram. "Our faculty and staff are working on many new initiatives and improvements to better prepare our students to become global business leaders."
The board also approved reorganization of the college departments in the School of Business. The college's five departments have been consolidated into three departments.
